DESCRIPTION: T. pallidium full length recombinant 15kD antigen produced in E.coli expression system.
PURIFICATION: T. pallidium 15kD antigen is purified by immune-affinity and ion-affinity chromatography methods to >95% purity as determined by SDS-PAGE, reduce.
SPECIFICITY: This protein binds murine monoclonal antibodies and T. pallidium converted human
polyclonal antibodies in ELISA and Western ELISA. Used for diagnosis of syphilis.
BIOLOGICAL ACTIVITY: Not determined.
APPLICATION AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Recommended concentrations for use are approximate values. Dilute the antigen preparation at least 1-5ug/ml in PBS
for solid phase antigen-antibody titration assays. A dose dependent response assay should be performed to determine
the optimal concentration for use in specific applications.
T.pallidium 15kD antigen antigen shows relatively strong binding specificity for specific human antibodies.
ELISA and Western ELISA require protein in 50ng range depending on the nature and affinity of the
secondary detection reagent. T. pallidium converted human polyclonal antibodies yield titers of 1:2 000 or
greater at 100ng of immobilized protein under standard
