Item#1302: Rabbit Anti-tat HIV-1 IIIB Polyclonal Antibody (IgG)
Concentration: See vial
Physical State: Frozen Liquid
Stability: At least 12 months at -75°C
Minimum Dilution: 1 : 1000
Application: Elisa/Western Elisa, Neutralization, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry.
Description: pAb IgG fraction purified from rabbit serum immunized with recombinant tat HIV-1 IIIB.
Purification: This pAb IgG was purified by protein-A affinity chromatography to >95% purity as determined by SDS-PAGE, reduced.
Specificity: This pAb IgG binds to native and recombinant HIV-1 IIIB tat in ELISA and Western ELISA.
Biological Activity: Not determined.
Application and Instructions for use:
Recommended dilutions for use are approximate values. A dose dependent response assay should be performed to determine the optimal concentration for use in specific applications. This pAb IgG yields titres of greater than 1 : 2000 with 100ng of immobilized gp120 (ImmunoDiagnostics Product# 1001) under standard ELISA conditions. Western ELISA may be performed at 1-2µg/ml of pAb depending on the nature and quantity of the immobilized antigen. Histochemical studies require pAb in 1 : 200 dilution range. This antibody does not cross-react with other human or animal proteins.
